Cameroon Requests, To Recieve Troops Support From Chad Against Boko Haram

Cameroon has requested for troops from neighboring Chad to help combat Boko Haram insurgents increasingly causing havoc in its northern region.

Chad President Idriss Deby has agreed to send troops in answer to Paul Biya, his counterpart’s request.

Cameroon has increasingly been battling with Boko Haram incursions from Nigeria which’s northeast has largely fallen under Boko Haram terror which the Nigerian leadership failed to overcome.

Nigeria has refused to request and sustain help from neighboring countries and has also rejected arming willing civilians and its army also undermined, with low ammunition and low morale has for most of the past six years failed to be able to check the terrorist crises that has destroyed much of the northeast, killed thousands of people and occupied land of over 20,000 square kilometers-larger than occupied by ISIS.
