Former CIA Chief Petraeus Heckled, Booed Out of CUNY (NY Uni.); Called War Criminal [Video]

Sept. 12, 2013
Former CIA Director and retired US Army General David Petraeus has been heckled by a group of protesters who called him a “war criminal.”

The protesters from The City University of New York (CUNY) followed Petraeus as he walked down a street in New York City to teach his first class at the university.

The students called Petraeus a “war criminal,” a “murderer” and a “disgusting imperialist.”

A student said, “That’s Petraeus, he’s a war criminal!”

“Disgusting, you should be ashamed of yourself,” another student said.

They also voiced their opposition to his presence at the CUNY, shouting “every class, David,” and “Petraeus out of CUNY.”

Petraeus, who resigned from the CIA last year over his extramarital affair scandal, was offered a position as a visiting professor at CUNY.

The footage shows Petraeus walking to his first day of his new job as a visiting professor at The City University of New York (CUNY). Petraeus seems unaffected as students hurl insults, labeling him a “war criminal,” a “scumbag,” and a “fascist.”

“You’ve got blood all over you! I can smell you!” “You disgusting imperialist!” yells one protester.

The ambush was organized by an organization calling itself the Ad Hoc Committee, a group of CUNY students attempting to drive out “Death Squad” Petraeus and eliminate the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) program.

This latest scandal followed an earlier scandal on his employment terms, with people complaining as to why CUNY will pay him $200,000 to teach the 3 credit class.
