The Department of State Service, DSS, on Monday, told a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, that it had uncovered a plot by some pro-Biafrans to invade the court and abduct the detained IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu.

This happened as a ruckus had ensued on court today, with the prosecutors alleging that they had been threatened by the family and attorney of Nnamdi Kanu, while the lawyer for Nnamdi Kanu had counter submitted that the fracas had resulted when the DSS had blocked family members from entering the court as against stipulations allowing members of the public to witness the trial.

The Director of Public Prosecution, Mr. Mohammed Diri, told trial Justice John Tsoho that the DSS has commenced investigation on the planned invasion.

Nnamdi Kanu, Kanu is facing a six-count treason charge alongside two other pro-Biafra supporters, Benjamin Madubugwu and David Nwawuisi.
