Four Civilian-JTF Slain, Two Missing As ‘Replenished’ Boko Haram Ambush Youth Vigilante

According to an unconfirmed report on a Facebook post, Four youth vigilante group popularly known as Civilian JTF lost their lives to the dreaded Boko Haram insurgents around Dalori in Konduga local government area. Two were also reportedly missing .

The CJTF who popularly fought and supported the Nigerian military in the fight against Boko Haram were said to have embarked on hunting mission when the sad event occurred. And six were able to escape the ambush.

Although the Nigerian military has actively subdued the Insurgents, its clear that there still remains a number of the terrorists that still operates in pockets.

Today is another sad day to the people Bama and indeed Borno State, we wake up to the sudden lost of our CJTF.
According to the confirmed source from Dalori 1 IDPs camp, yesterday morning 12 members of the CJTF left for hunting at behind Dalori 1 IDPs camp eight kilometers away where they were ambushed by BH and slain four of them, two were missing and the other six took their heels and returned to the camp successfully. The four that were slain are Wal Fanne, Ibrahim, Chacha and Baba Kalemi. May their souls rest in perfect peace and gives their families fortitude to bear the irreparable lost ameen.They have since been buried according to the Islamic rites today by 9am. I was opportune to graced the funeral prayer at Dalori 1 IDPs Camp. Definitely they will be remembered for their gallantry insha-Allah.
