June 5th, 2012

The Kush Chronicle- I was at home yesterday, babysitting the kids when I got the call from Ben, a friend.

A plane had crashed into my parent’s neighborhood three bus stops away from our family home.

So saddening.

I give glory to God though because my baby brother was planning to come home from Abuja by Dana Air. He’s changed his mind now and decided to go by road.

All airplanes more than 15years old  should be banned from Nigerian Airspace and how much deos a plane cost that the so called businessmen can not afford? when people can afford to buy properties and empty lands of one billion naira and above , why flying in a 41years old plane?

Nigeria is indeed a big for nothing country. The oil we have is grossly mismanaged, the blood of the departed is partly on the head of those who could have purchased new aircrafts but preffered to hide the money in banks or build houses they can not live in due to countlesss numbers of houses they own, Government and the Indians we are allowing to rubbish us in this country.

May Their Soul Rest In Peace, as we pray that those of us who are still living should listen to God’s instruction from His word in Preparation for the coming of Jesus Christ. or in order word if it happens in this way, one will be going to his/her eternal home in glory to meet our great God who will welcome such with honour for having done  His will on earth. May God save His people by put His fear in our heart to do the right thing at the right time to save cost and life in Jesus Name – Amen.

MAY THE ALMIGHTY GOD GRANT THEIR SOUL ETERNAL REST AND GIVE THE BEREAVED FAMILIES THE FORTITUDE TO BEAR THE IRREPARABLE LOST. AMEN. THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT SHOULD ON THEIR OWN PART BE MORE SERIOUS IN CHECKING THE CONDITION OF AIR LINES  THAT FLY IN  THIS  COUNTRY, THIS WILL CERTAINLY  MINIMIZE THE RATE OF PLANE CRASH . NIGERIANS COULD NOT AFFORD TO BE LOOSING MEANINGFUL CITIZENS .

May The Almighty God never allow this mishap to befall any nation again. Let us revisit the issue of Safety on air traffic immediately. We await the findings of the Presidential Committee on Dana air disaster and their recommendations.
May God accept the departed souls.
