From all indication a political fight is about escalating in Kano.
Various activities of political thuggery, fighting between political opponents of both APC and PDP is presently being recorded.
A political campaign office of PDP in Gwammaja has reportedly been burned down, while a PDP campaign vehicle was attacked along Ibrahim taiwo road. The occupants inside the car were attacked and beaten and the car destroyed.
The campaign office of Senator Kabiru Gaya along Katsina road was also torched.
NewsRescue reported earlier of the destruction to a Kwankwaso, APC billboard.
Additionally, some individuals were seen attacking some people by WAPA roundabout.
The above activities are the only known and reported ones by NewsRescue correspondents in the state, because one is not everywhere to get the exact picture of the happening presently. There could be several more events of violence across Kano state.
Peace has been strongly urged.
