resident Muhammadu Buhari will be working from home after a medical leave in London because rats wreaked havoc in his office while he was away, a spokesman claimed on Tuesday.
President Buhari resumed work on Monday morning but reports were emerging on Monday evening that it might be best he throws in the towel and travels back for more treatment.
Spokesman Garba Shehu said rats destroyed the President’s office and it needs to be fixed.
Mr. Buhari spent more than 100 days abroad, treating himself, and rumours quickly emerged that he was getting worse, and even at some point, on life support.
But, the President returned on Saturday and on Monday he addressed the nation in a brief broadcast.
However, reports later claimed that those who saw him at the Presidential palace quickly realized things had not improved.
