UN: Bolivian President Evo Morales Says The UN Should Be Moved Out Of US

Sept. 26, 2013

NewsRescue– At the UN Assembly in New York, 2013, the Bolivian President Evo Morales accused the United States of harboring terrorists and urged that UN headquarters be moved from New York.

Morales said: “I would like you to be aware that the United States harbors terrorists and the corrupt.”

He also accused the US of never ratifying any human rights treaty, emphasizing that no one felt safe in the US and so the UN should be moved.

The Edward Snowden spying revelation pitted the US at odds with many countries in the world, including Bolivia. It can be recalled that when Snowden was suspected to be on-board Morales’ plane, his plane was delayed in what he called a “13-hour kidnapping”.
