NewsRescue- An event the Quran and Islamic faith had actually absolutely nothing to do with, was still marked 9 years later, in times of economic recessions caused also not by the Quran but again by the policies of the US government, with Quran desecration and burning near the site where the Twin towers stood, and by several other frustrated Americans including two evangelical preachers from Tennessee.
The streets near Ground Zero in New York, where a memorial service was held for the victims of the September 11, 2001 attacks also became the scene of opposing demonstrations Saturday night.
Over 1,000 people marched in favor of a proposed construction of a questionable” Islamic” center near Ground Zero, the site of the World Trade Center prior to the 9/11 attacks, while a block away, other groups rallied against its construction.

Meanwhile thousands of New Yorkers including over 1200 architects & engineers in a project seen on the website- BuildingWhat.org are raising funds to launch a new investigation into the collapse of building 7 on September 11, 2001. So far they have raised a whopping $70,000 out of a total $100,000 needed, from donations in support of this project. They plan to use these funds to show the ad below on New York TV:

More than eight years after the tragedy of September 11, 2001, New York Supreme Court Justice Edward H. Lehner was hearing arguments in a courtroom less than a mile from Ground Zero about a ballot initiative to launch a new investigation of the 9/11 attacks. When the lawyer for the plaintiffs sponsoring the initiative explained that the 9/11 Commission report left many unanswered questions, including “Why did Building 7 come down,” the Judge replied quizzically, “Building what?”
Like Judge Lehner, millions of people do not know or remember only vaguely that a third tower called World Trade Center Building 7 also collapsed on September 11, 2001. In any other situation, the complete, free fall collapse of a 47-story skyscraper would be played over and over on the news. It would be discussed for years to come and building design codes would be completely rewritten. So, why does no one know about Building 7? And why did Building 7 come down?

On Saturday, in the 911 anniversary opposition’s rally, a man burned pages from the Muslim holy book in front of press photographers. In another incident, a man ripped out pages from the holy Quran and made vulgar gestures with them. The police did not try to stop any of the incidents.
This comes after a Florida preacher called off plans to burn copies of the Quran on the anniversary of 9/11 attacks.
Muslims world over have been relatively peaceful, calm and unperturbed by these events in the troubled USA.
Anthropologist Jack Sprew said the recent seeming increase in Anti-Islamism in the US, which comes a whole 9 years after the highly controversial Twin tower collapse, is not isolated, but is just a part of a conglomerate of increasing riots, protests and increasing violence, and actually just a reflection of the growing frustrations and discontent in the society, due to current economic hardships.

Recent reports have put the level of poverty in the US at 1 in every 7 people, with a total of 50 Million Americans estimated to be living on social welfare.
President Obamas economic recovery plan, if it is working is working very slow. according to US congressman, Dr. Ron Paul, the future for the US economy in the next 2 years is even more bleak. In an interview on CNN, he said, privatization of social welfare is not the issue, the real issue is the entire economy which may be in a much worse state in another two years.
Meanwhile new video footage of the 9/11 towers collapse have added “evidence” for an increasing number of disbelievers in the official Bush story. This new footage shows a laser beam on the buildings appearing to guide the planes to their targets on the buildings.
