Popularly called the ‘service thieves,’ Nigeria’s president Muhammadu Buhari has at last sacked the heads of service, military chiefs of the Nigerian Navy, Army, Airforce and the Chief of Defense staff.
Accused of facilitating terror and abdicating their sworn duties to protect the nation, Nigeria’s service chiefs, or thieves who are unusually morbidly obese and too fat for service, made public headlines when shortly after being sworn in they were found to be dividing among themselves hundreds of acres of land in Abuja that was designated for the Asokoro military barracks in the famous #ArmyGate scandal involving former president Goodluck Jonathan.
The service chiefs were relieved by appointments Monday.
