Boko Haram terrorists have killed scores of villagers in a raid of Tumpun village in Askira Uba Local government of Borno State.
The terrorists were reported to have come on cycles in an early morning raid, setting buildings ablaze, and killing scores as they raided the village for food and other provisions.
The total number of dead is not yet known as the Nigerian government has put a blockade on information on the true situation in Borno and other Boko Haram plagued areas.
This happened as the Nigerian government claimed it had freed another 800 abducted civilians held with the terrorists.
