Just around a little after 10am today, gun shots were heard around state road in Kano. Further findings indicated that the gun shots were coming from the Kano state government house and it was intentionally shot by the guards at the government house to celebrate Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje’s victory at the supreme Court.
The sound of the gun shots were heard around MATAN FADA road, Kofar Nassarawa, farm center etc.
Some individuals contacted to air their views about the random shots of guns by the guards at the Kano government house as a solidarity with the Governor’s victory, expressed surprise as to why the guards, especially the mopols will engage in such an unapproved activity of using live amunitions in a populated area and further queried as to where they get such ammunition that are not accounted for.
