After harsh media condemnation, the Buhari government has ordered the immediate disengagement of former pension boss Abdulrasheed Maina.
The presidency Monday stated:
President Muhammadu Buhar has directed the immediate disengagement of Mr. Abdulrasheed Maina from the Federal Civil Service.
The disengagement is with immediate effect.
PMB has also asked Head of Service to submit a full report of the circumstances of Mr Maina’s recall & posting to the Interior Ministry.

Prominent right activist Femi Falana SAN and unusual chairman presidential anti-corruption committee, Itse Sagay had criticized the re-engagement and urged the Buhari government immediately sack and arrest the accused former pension boss.
