The APC Akwa Ibom chapter has sent a fresh petition to the Nigerian Department of Security, Director General’s office and Inspector General of Police against Akwa Ibom State INEC Rec Mr Okojie for obstructing and hindering the party investigation into alleged electoral malpractices ahead of the tribunal slated for July 14th.
In the petition Attorney Victor Iyanam, representing the party alleged that electoral materials were destroyed and poorly stored intentionally by the Rec to obstruct the investigation. Also that the Rec failed to take electoral materials to Abuja and allow access to them within stipulated tie thus hindering a thorough investigation ahead of tribunal.
Other complaints of corruption were filed.
