Foundation Leads Team Of Muslim And Christian Scholars To Kasuwan Magani For Peace And Reconciliation Mission

The team was headed by pastor Yohanna Buru,who is the National president peace revival and reconciliation foundation of Nigeria, and the aim is to meet with all the Traditional Title holders ,Muslim and Christian leaders ,youth organization, and other relevant authority in the area ,in other to immensely condole with every member of the community over the ugly incident that claimed 7 lives and the destruction of many houses, shops.

According to him ,it is very importance to carry the message of peace and religious tolerance to the community, while condoling with them and pray for the deceased once , he also advised the entire community on various ways to halt this type of problems in the future,so as to make their area a peaceful region.

Buru said ,we came here as team of religious leaders to meet with every stake holders in the area ,so as to interact, and Dialogue, on ways to move the region ahead through forgiveness, Tolerance,, while stating clearly that peace is the best option to all kinds of problem disturbing any society.

“Am begging every one in the community to forgive each other,and find means of dialoging what ever situation ,so as to move their region ahead like any other places that is fast developing in the state”

“Am begging on both the Muslims and Christians in the area to forgive each other, because our holy books taught us to forgive one another,and for us to live in peace and harmony ,we must forgive each other”

He said,No society can move without peace,and No matter the hyke of the situation through dialogue and better understanding concrete solution usually emerged to solve the matter in a peaceful way

Adding that as a result of the crisis many people has become homeless, while some are now at the hospital receiving medical treatment.

“The importance of peace to any society cannot be overemphasized hence to need for every patriotic citizens to love peace and learnt to tolerate , accommodate other cultures in the name of living in peace and harmony with one another.”

Buru further pointed out that there is the need for all the traditional title holders and youth leaders organization with other local tribe to be meeting from time to time,and be dialoging on issues that could help them in moving the region forward.

Additionally, Buru noted that Kaduna had in the fast years experience religious crisis that claimed hundreds of lives and millions of property were destroyed ,turning large numbers of family to refugees “we don’t want any reputation of it, we want peace every were ,that is why we are here,and that is why we are carrying peace campaign mission to any crisis region.”

While calling on state government,philanthropist,Non-governmental organization, civil societies organization to be helping the youth with skilled acquisition ,so as to assist them finding solution to the increasing unemployment problems that is making youth now turning themselves to be causing problems.

Responding on behalf of the community in the area, Mallam Ibrahim Abdullahi is the community leaders in the area,he thanks the team of the scholars that came to condole with them.

Abdullahi says,we are greatful for the quick intervention by the security men of the state.

The community, which is about 31 kilometers from Kaduna city, is located along the highway connecting Plateau, Nasarawa and Benue states as well as the southern part of Kaduna State.

Meanwhile ,Governor El-Rufai also ordered the State Emergency Management Agency to take inventory of damages and provide relief materials with immediate effect.

The governor sympathized with the families of the deceased and injured victims while urging the people of the state to reject violence and division, but promote peace and harmony.

Also Christian association of Nigeria C.A,.N and Jama’atul nasril islam JNI kaduna,has appealed to the citizens in the area to live in peace harmony.

In their own contribution from media centre kaduna,Mallam Iman isah sani and reverend Dangiwa also urged the youth in the area to be law abiding citizens.
