The recently passed Nigerian budget was still full of padding, commissions and other fraudulent errors, however the House and Senate apparently passed it in the interest of moving forward.

The Minority Leader, Godswill Akpabio mocked the Buhari’s All Progressives Congress Government, saying the budget should be passed “as it is” but noted “this is change in the wrong direction”.
He said with the budget, the 2016 fiscal year was not part of the expected “change”.
