Kogi: History Made As Yahya Bello Sworn In Without Deputy

For the first time in Nigeria’s history a state governor saw sworn in Wednesday without a deputy.

Bello’s deputy, James Faleke who won the election with late Abubakar Audu, made real his threat not to present himself for swearing in with the governor in spite of having been rounded up by the DSS two weeks ago.

Yahya Bello would be the first minority governor of Kogi state.
