Large numbers of Boko Haram terrorists are engaging the Nigerian military at Zabarmari and Koshobo towns about 10 kilometers from Maiduguri, capital of Borno state.
According to a local Civilian JTF fighter, the attacks this Friday started around 7pm. Scores were reported killed and many taken to the hospital as large explosions were heard form the battle between the Nigerian army and the terrorist armies.
The terrorists have in recent days staged deadly attacks around Borno killing hundreds and burning down entire towns including Kukuwa and its heritage sites. The attack at Kukawa Wednesday saw the terrorists kill over 100 in Mosques and kill dozens more in house to house raids.

The Nigerian army has for over five years failed at exterminating the sect who have maintained large armies and continued wanton destruction of life and property in Nigeria’s northeast farming belt.
