While current president Muhammadu Buhari is not expected to replicate this apparent pattern, and Jonathan is not a candidate ever expected to be imitated, a list of appointments by former president Goodluck Jonathan posted on the web popular Nigerian forum seems to display grave lopsidedness.
GEJ Appointments in the past 5+yrs the north never cried out because it is not in their nature.
