The Vanguard reports that “the Movement for the Sovereign State of Biafra,MASSOB,Friday,stamped its foots on the ground, vowing to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the Niger Delta Avengers, NDA, whose continued onslaught on crude oil pipelines and installations since last February 10, has brought production capacity below 800,000BPD.”
This as the Avengers group suspected to be sponsored by southern rebel leader and former administration security contractor, Government Tompolo disclaimed having been involved in recent meetings with the oil minister of state, Ibe Kachikwu who hails form the group’s center state, Delta.
