Nigerians took to twitter to protest the newest case of mass murder and secret mass burial of Muslims by the Buhari government. The event in kano took place as Muslims and other participants were attempting to make a symbolic Arbaeen trek from Kano to Zaria. At least 100 Muslims were killed as the police opened fire on the unarmed and peaceful trekkers. As is recurrent under the Buhari regime, as many as 40 bodies of victims were carted away and secretly buried in a mass grave in Kano.
