As can be expected, former Senate President David Mark has joined a growing list of exposed personalities implicated in the Panama Papers trove of documents. He joins Nigerian current Senate President Bukola Saraki and former governor James Ibori among others with stashed undeclared assets in the tax haven.

All these operating secret companies in blatant violation of Section 6(b) of the Code of Conduct Act.

Mr David Mark was actually marked as politically exposed by the firm and had to send fake papers to prove he was not, documents reveal.

“In documents, Mr. Mark was linked to eight active companies registered in the British Virgin Island. They are Sikera Overseas S.A, Colsan Enterprises Limited, Goldwin Transworld Limited, Hartland Estates Limited, Marlin Holdings Limited, Medley Holdings Limited, Quetta Properties Limited, and Centenary Holdings Limited.”
