The governor of Ekiti state, Ayodele Fayose, has condemned report of violence and malpractices in the Rivers state re-run elections. Fayose blamed President Muhammadu Buhari and the ruling, All Progressives Congress, APC, Fayose, via his Twitter handle, said that, ‘the open display of contempt for free, fair and transparent election by APC in Rivers is capable of setting Nigeria on the path of anarchy’, adding that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC under Buhari has destroyed the legacy of free, fair and transparent elections bequeathed on Nigeria by former President Goodluck Jonathan.
