A youth, Anselm Ugwuoke, is currently on the run after killing his father, Paulinus Ugwuoke, 60, on Christmas Day, in Enugu State.
The incident occurred in Imilike-Agu, a community in Udenu Local Government Area of the state on Thursday during Christmas.
It was gathered that, at about 10pm on the fateful day, Anselm and some of his friends had a heated argument with his father at their family house.
The subject of the disagreement is unknown, but our correspondent learnt that the matter took an ugly turn when Anselm struck his father with an object.
