Yesterday’s (18/04/2016) session of the Judicial Commission of Inquiry (JCI) was very interesting that was full of extremes, from the brilliant presentation of the mountain of truth and justice, Prof Dahiru Yahya to the lowest of the low presentation of Saudi-sponsored Wahhabi groups from Kano state and the lowest level of their presentation was when they presented one masked woman named “Aisha Haruna” to give false testimony against the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) under the leadership of His Eminence Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky.
Prof Dahiru Yahya defended the Memo that he presented to the JCI and the brilliant Professor of History defended the Memo well despite barrage of questions from the Lawyers of the Nigerian Army, Wahhabi groups and Kaduna state government. The high point of his defense was when he said that “Shia Muslims save lives while the Wahhabi contamination of Sunni Islam destroyed lives”. He buttressed his point by declaring that the overwhelming majority of the murderous terrorist groups in the world are inspired by Wahhabism.
The Lawyer of the Wahhabi groups accused Prof Dahiru Yahya of been Shia, the Professor answered in the negative and declared that he is a Muslim who desire unity of Shia and Sunni. If we can remember the celebrated Professor strongly condemned the brutal and inhuman actions of the Nigerian Army in the Zaria massacre and called for the punishment of the culprits.
Then the Saudi-sponsored Wahhabi groups from Kano made their presentation by showing strong support for the brutal slaughter of close to 1000 defenseless and unarmed Nigerians by the Nigerian Army and dumping their dead bodies in mass Graves. This did not come as a surprise as these Wahhabi groups in Nigeria have Shia Genocide as an agenda and are strong supporters of the murderous ISIS and AlQaeda that had turned the slaughter of the innocent into an art.
The most shameful part of the presentation of these Wahhabi groups was when they presented a masked woman called “Aisha Haruna”. Aisha Haruna appeared with a mask made of cotton which covered her face told the commission that her uncle, Yusuf Muhammad Tura, who was coming from Abuja along Bakori road met “Shiites” on the road, celebrating the Birthday anniversary of the Holy Prophet (sa). He made an attempt of passing through the gathering but he was refused by “Shiites” and another person happen to get his way through the gathering so Aisha’s uncle try to do that, as a result “Shiites” stoned him, beat him and burnt him to death! A Lawyer asked her whether they report the incidence to the authority, she replied him by saying no…
The above narration was a twisting of facts of what actually happened. IMN members from Bakori Town informed me that the incident happened but it was not members of IMN that organized that Moulud procession, it was the Sunni Sufi Tijjaniyya Brotherhood that organized it. And arrest were made and those responsible were charged to court and sentenced and none of them was an IMN member. Various Hausa Newspapers like “Aminiya” carried the story, so it was something that was common public knowledge but here are the pathological lying Wahhabis trying to demonize IMN with it. Nigerians are well aware that all IMN processions are peaceful, organized and orderly, the processions for the birth anniversary of the Prophet (sa) are the most colorful since people are celebrating the birth of the best of creation.
It is important to note that the Kaduna state Governor Nasir Elrufai deliberately populated the JCI with die-hard Wahhabis so as to accept such fraudulent witnesses against IMN to facilitate the execution of their next agenda which is to proscribe the IMN and ban its activities. But other events overtook their plots and Governor Elrufai panicked with the referral of the Zaria massacre to the International Criminal Court (ICC) by IMN and God planted the seed of division in their hearts that resulted in that important confession by Governor Elrufai of burying 347 Nigerians that included women and children in a single mass grave.
