A sex video involving an ex-commissioner in Zamfara State has gone viral attracting wide condemnation of the commissioner and some people calling for his arrest and prosecution.
The two-minute video clip which was obtained by Daily Trust shows the ex- commissioner who was a member of the recently dissolved cabinet in the state, in an explicit sexual activity with an unidentified lady in a room.
The video has generated a lot of reactions in the state from the general public with some tagging it as the most scandalous video in the history of the state.
Some residents who have seen the video wonder why the commissioner would allow himself to be involved in such illicit act.
It was not clear whether the video was recorded by a third party in the act or by a mounted camera but some people suggested that it might have been recorded by one of the actors because of the unsteadiness of the recording.
But when accosted by newsmen, the state Deputy Governor, Malam Ibrahim Wakkala Muhammad, said he would not stop any journalist from publishing the story but leaving the story would be better quoting the holy Qur’an and hadith.
Spokesman of the state police command, DSP Sanusi Amiru, said he was yet to see the video as such he would not make any comment on the matter.
Also when contacted on phone for comment, the ex-commissioner seen in the video said,” I am on my way to Gusau, give me some time and I would call you back when I arrive, please.” But he did not call back as at the time of filing this report.
