I went to Sokoto in mid October, 2015, and on my way back I decided to stop over at Zaria to meet my friend Dr. Isa Waziri of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (Samaru campus). While at his office his two sons who were twins, Hassan and Hussein, came and when they saw me as usual they were very happy. I greeted them and asked after their mother, brothers and sisters and I also asked after their education. Their father informed me that they had completed their High School and just secured University admission. I advised them on the importance of education and the need of hard work. They told their father that they will be going to Husseiniya (Shia Islamic center destroyed by Nigerian government) for a religious program and they left.

Unknown to me that was the last time I will see Hassan (18) and Hussein (18). They were brutally murdered by the Nigerian army in the residence of Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky and the Satanic Governor of Kaduna state, Nasir Elrufai, dumped their dead bodies in a single mass grave. The Waziri family also lost another son, Muhammad (23), and daughter, Fatima (21), who were both undergraduate students at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, during the inhuman ZariaMassacre.

On 12th-14th December, 2015 Nigerian President Buhari sent the Nigerian army to Zaria and attacked members of the peaceful Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) under the leadership of His Eminence Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky. The army killed more than 800 Nigerian citizens, burnt and destroyed the iconic Husseiniya and burnt and destroyed the residence of Sheikh Zakzaky that included his famous Library. After the inhuman massacre President Buhari, Gov Elrufai and their gang of mass-murderers dumped the dead bodies in mass graves at night. To this day no single person is arrested for the heinous crimes of the mass-murder of 800+ Nigerians.

In its most recent letter to the Nigerian government the US government called on it to prosecute the murderous criminals who executed the Zariamassacre. The Nigerian government failed to prosecute the murderous criminals who slaughtered 800+ Nigerian men, women, children and the aged because President Buhari ordered the brutal massacre and all the actions of the government since then was to bury the massacre just as they buried the victims of the massacre.

Nigerians are at a loss as to why will Nigerian government massacred close to one thousand Nigerian civilians in less than 48 hours and dumped their dead bodies in mass graves. The inhuman ZariaMassacre was an evil imperialist agenda that have the Saudi regime as a front and that was why the Saudi King called President Buhari four days after the massacre to celebrate the mass-murder of Nigerian civilians. Inhuman war crimes were committed by the Nigerian army during ZariaMassacre, they burnt Nigerians alive, they raped girls and women, they shot women in their private parts and stabbed their breast with Rifle bayonets while chanting ‘No Shia in Nigeria’ and they deliberately bombed civilians in a religious site. During the mass burial by Gov Elrufai some Nigerians were buried alive in the mass grave.

The ZariaMassacre will go down in history as the peak of inhuman savagery and naked barbarism by the Buhari administration. Hundreds of Young Nigerian students like Hassan and Hussein were brutally murdered by the Soldiers that are paid to protect them and the Satanic Elrufai dumped their dead bodies in mass grave. None of the families of the victims is contacted by Nigerian authorities as the authorities are desperate to bury the massacre.

On a final note, as students of history we know that it is impossible to bury inhuman massacres like the ZariaMassacre. One day the true picture of what actually happened will be know to all and the mass graves unearth for the world to see.

Heartfelt condolences to all the families of the victims of the massacre and God heal the injured as there are Nigerians still nursing the injuries they sustained during the massacre.
