Latest update on the Nigerian Apex bank recruitment scandal:
The Central Bank of Nigeria has refused to respond to a two week query from the Federal Character Commission.
The commission empowered to monitor recruitment in government agencies had asked the bank to provide whatever waiver it claimed it had used to recruit relatives of current and former government officials.
“The latest employment by the CBN is believed to have breached those requirements.
“Through a highly secretive process, the bank hired dozens of relatives of government officials including relatives of several government ministers and President Muhammadu Buhari.” Read full on PT
