PT– Some weeks ago, the Nigerian government hired a Washington-based Public Relation firms, LEVICK Communications Trust, to execute three key image laundering activities.

Primarily, LEVICK would provide the Goodluck Jonathan led administration with counsel on how to change local and international media narrative about Nigerian government’s failure to find and rescue the missing Chibok Schoolgirls, kidnapped by Boko Haram from their hostels in Government Secondary School, Chibok, in April.

LEVICK is also expected to help attract global support for the Nigerian government’s war on Boko Haram while branding it as part of a global war on terror.

The Nigerian government pays LEVICK N16.2 million monthly for the length of the the contract, originally conceived for one year. This is in addition to other fees charged at cost, without an upper limit.

The contract was signed by President Jonathan’s former spokesperson, Ima Niboro, on behalf of Nigeria. Mr. Niboro is the current director general of News Agency on Nigeria.

PREMIUM TIMES obtained a copy of the contract between LEVICK and the Nigerian government, filed with America’s National Security Division and Foreign Agents Registration Unit.
