As the hunt for the 200 girls abducted from Chibok Government Girls Secondary School 13 days ago progresses, a civil activist group, ENDS, headed by Dr. Peregrino Brimah has been taking decisive steps to physically engage Boko Haram terrorists. The group is recruiting an army of civilian volunteers from across the nation to participate in an armed civilian force working with the nations security services, to comb the entire territories for Boko Haram suspects and all abducted persons.
The group on Saturday sent a memo to the Nigerian government requesting its executive approval to conduct this civilian volunteer army operation. See: Request For Executive Authorization to Recruit, Mobilize, Train and Deploy Concerned Volunteers Against the Boko Haram Insurgency
Dr. Brimah and a member of the Civilian-JTF whose identity is concealed, spoke to Radio France International’s Rosie Collyer about the abducted girls and the civilian mission.
