NewsRescue

Available information as shared by Usman Ado Bayero indicate that the operatives of EFCC have jumped fence into the emir sunusi Lamido Sunusi II buildings in the kano state emirate council and have taken some drastic steps concerning the investigation of the emirate spendings to the tune of more than 4billion naira.

The EFCC operatives used padlocks and locked some offices in the building. Those offices locked down by the EFCC operatives includes that of the secretary to the emir, popularly known as ‘sallama’, the office of the senior councillor and that of the treasurer known as ma’aji held by walin Kano.

Its not clear whether the EFCC. have carted away documents in the process of their operations.

If you can recall the EFCC boss visited his kano counterpart Muhiyi Magaji two days ago, in a meeting held at the EFCC kano office, the EFCC chairman called on his Kano counterpart to fight corruption without fear or favour.

What this signified is that the EFCC is seemed to have taken over the investigation initiated by kano state public complaint and anti-corruption commission some few weeks ago.
