NewsRescue

A suicide bomber killed 21 members of the Islamic movement and critically injuring dozens on procession to Kano from Zaria as we reported earlier, while one was caught alive before he could detonate his death weapon.

The suicide bomber was caught alive by members of the procession vigilantes, he alerted that there was a second bomber but before the second bomber could be captured, he detonated his vest. The bombers were disguised as member of the movement.

According to the captured bomber, he was abducted by Boko Haram from Mubi in Adamawa state and taken to the notorious Sambisa forest where he was indoctrinated for the mission of terror.

The two were then ferried to Gwamaja in Kano and then put on the mission.

The Islamic movement said their 21 members had been sent off to paradise and that the acts of the cowardly terrorists would not dissuade them from continuing their walk to Kano.

It would not be the first time that terrorists would target the Islamic movement. Last year July bombers bombed one of their Mosques in Yobe, killing scores.

Three sons, 32 others killed by Nigerian military onslaught on peaceful Muslim protesters in Kaduna

The Islamic movement have fallen victim of Boko Haram and former administration terror. It can be recollected that in July of last year, three sons of their leader, Sheikh Zakzaky were killed by soldeirs under the Jonathan administration who were never reprimanded for the heinous act. The murdered included three sons of the peaceful Sheikh, who rather than riot, decided to handle the case only through legal means.
