As the Military and Kaduna State-sponsored campaign of calumny continues with the aim of provoking sectarian strife and getting Nigeria embroiled in a Middle east type nonsensical and evil conflict, NewsRescue in its obligation to defend the defenseless wishes to remind Nigerians that though no one is perfect, the Islamic Movement is renowned for a lot of great things including being forerunners in interfaith unity and promotion of tolerance, peace and security for all Nigerians.
In December of 2014 there was a shocker in Nigeria when we broke the story that Muslims had protected Churches in Kaduna. CAN president Ayo Oritsejafor in hate, attempted to deny it but later the News Agency of Nigeria released press releases confirming the event and NewsRescue published the pictures.
It was not the first or last time the Islamic Movement had done the extraordinary and shown the motto of the movement to promote a better society. The show of love helped frustrate Boko Haram and also helped bring Nigeria together to promote a Buhari Presidential election victory.
NewsRescue hopes the enemies of peace who have already massacred over 1000 Nigerians and left hundreds sick, burned, amputated and disabled in hospitals and still locked up in jail and exhumed their graves and demolished their properties, would give it a break and give peace a chance while atoning for their sins.
Quran 22: 40: Those who have been expelled from their homes without a just cause except that they say: Our Lord is Allah. And had there not been Allah’s repelling some people by others, certainly there would have been pulled down cloisters and churches and synagogues and mosques in which Allah’s name is much remembered; and surely Allah will help him who helps His cause; most surely Allah is Strong, Mighty.
#FridayPearl: “Fear the prayer of the oppressed, even if he is a disbeliever, for there is no barrier (between it and Allah [the God]).” (Al-Bukhari and Muslim).
“O you who have believed, be persistently standing firm in justice, witnesses for Allah , even if it be against yourselves or parents and relatives. Whether one is rich or poor, Allah is more worthy of both. So follow not [personal] inclination, lest you not be just. And if you distort [your testimony] or refuse [to give it], then indeed Allah is ever, with what you do, Acquainted.“ Quran 4:135
