Jason Russell masturbates in public(again). No, not his Kony 2012 video this time, his person.
The new full video exclusive above from TMZ has him clapping, yelling f-expletives and yelling to the ‘devil’. He appeared possessed as though just out of demonic initiation, or under an African voodoo spell. Many Hollywood actors coincidentally go through very similar episodes. It is rumored that celebrities shoot to fame and undergo a swearing-soul-to-the-devil initiation; several have had similar ‘meltdowns’. Dave Chappelle discussed this.

NewsRescue- Like a scene from a Nollywood (African) movie, according to reports and video on the internet, Jason Russell, co-founder of Invisible Children and producer of Kony 2012, a video that struggles to attack 6 year retired- maybe even dead- Joseph Kony of new oil rich Uganda, was seen running around masturbating in public and slapping the ground, stark naked.

Our intelligent readers of course are certainly not surprised by his repeat show of ‘public insanity’. What they are ‘surprised’ by is the fact that his first ‘masturbation’, the Kony 2012 video has as expected, initiated US congress resolution and proceedings to ‘invade Central Africa’. Shame!
With his public nakedness, Jason Russell of Invisible Children is about to loose custody of his son who was likely exploited in producing his misinformative, fact-less and tact-less 30 minute militarization propaganda video. By the way, you may want to view what he was doing in 2006.

The TV station cited police Lt. Andra Brown as saying that Jason Russell, 33, was detained by police Thursday in the Pacific Beach neighborhood.

Reached later by msnbc.com, Brown would not confirm the man’s identity, noting the man was not arrested.
Brown said police responded to reports in the Pacific Beach area of a man in in his underwear, running in the street and screaming. Some people reported they had seen the man masturbating, Brown told msnbc.com.
The man was detained by officers and then taken to a local medical facility for evaluation and treatment, Brown told msnbc.com.
Russell is one of the founders responsible for the “KONY 2012” video that went viral last week. He is described on the organization’s website as a co-founder and “our grand storyteller and dreamer.” Russel is also described as a Christian and father to two children who wants to have nine more children with his wife he calls his “best friend for over 23 years.”

In a statement Friday, Ben Keesey, CEO of Invisible Children, said:
“Jason Russell was unfortunately hospitalized yesterday suffering from exhaustion, dehydration, and malnutrition. He is now receiving medical care and is focused on getting better. The past two weeks have taken a severe emotional toll on all of us, Jason especially, and that toll manifested itself in an unfortunate incident yesterday. Jason’s passion and his work have done so much to help so many, and we are devastated to see him dealing with this personal health issue. We will always love and support Jason, and we ask that you give his entire family privacy during this difficult time.”

The video of alleged child atrocities by Ugandan warlord Joseph Kony has been viewed more than 100 million times on the Internet. The 30-minute YouTube film aims to wake up the world to atrocities committed by Kony’s Lord’s Resistance Army, including kidnapping children and forcing them to fight.
Invisible Children tapped 12 influential policy makers and 20 celebrities with popular Twitter accounts, including Oprah Winfrey and Angelina Jolie, to spread the video.
The phenomenal success of the video, including the savvy media campaign with tweets about Kony, has been hailed for inspiring young people to activism, but has suffered some criticism including that it oversimplified a long-standing human rights crisis.

In an interview with MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell, Jason Russell discusses the Invisible Children campaign.
Russell, who narrates the video with a personal story that juxtaposes shots of his young son in San Diego with the hopelessness of Ugandan children, told Reuters last week the video was only meant as a kick-starter to a complicated issue.
“It definitely oversimplifies the issue. This video is not the answer, it’s just the gateway into the conversation. And we made it quick and oversimplified on purpose,” he said. “We are proud that it is simple. We like that. And we want you to keep investigating, we want you to read the history.”

Uganda reactions to Kony 2012 video (The first masturbation)
According to the Washington Times and video on Aljazeera, there is an overwhelming negative reaction to the Kony 2012 initial video and campaign.
The collective feedback amounts to a rejection of the video in a region that was once terrorized by Kony.
