In a latest biggest scandal to Nigeria’s administration, the new Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, and the Central Bank of Nigeria’s Governor, Mr. Godwin Emefiele have been found to be flying the same controversial wasteful charter jets rented by former Minister of Petroleum, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke.
Punch confirmed from the Central Bank that the government had signed a contract with VistaJet to rent the same jets for the use of the governor whenever he wishes.
It is recollected that Diezani came under intense fire and condemnation for wastefully renting the bombardier luxury private jets now being flown by minister Ibe Kachikwu and Godwin Emefiele, at a stupendous cost to Nigerian tax payers.
