Kwara State Residents Protest End To Saraki Corrupt Dynasty [VIDEO]

Residents of Kwara State stormed the streets of Ilorin on Wednesday to rally against the corrupt dynasty of Senate President Bukola Saraki, who represents the state in the Senate, and to express the need for good governance and peace in Kwara State.

The protest came as Kwara State prepares for the November 18 local government elections.

“We don’t want a government of enslavement, we don’t want a government of poverty,” one protester told SaharaReporters.

“The youth are coming out en masse. We don’t want Saraki again,” he said.

Our correspondent observed that the protest was led by women and youths.

Demonstrators emphasized that the Kwara State government has failed to address the state’s many problems, including poor infrastructure and poverty.
