In an interview recording, Lagos state governor Babajide Sanwo Olu admitted knowing the military units involved in the massacre at Lekki Toll gate in Lagos.
“What we heard is the units that went there are less than 10 minutes from where it occurred…”
He said in the audio that there must have been a miscommunication which made the soldiers go ahead of even the time – 9pm– when the curfew was meant to begin.
