Nigeria’s president Goodluck Jonathan who has yet failed to publicly comment on the massacre of over 2000 Nigerians in Baga was spotted partying during his niece’s wedding in the nation’s capital, Abuja.
A History of Insensitivity
Nigeria’s President has been prior widely criticized for his insensitivity, notably partying at an Oba’s function and then dancing in campaign rallies in April right when 200 Nigerians were killed in Abuja Nyanya bombings and when over 234 grls were abducted from school in Chibok.
Also choosing #BringBackGoodluck as a campaign slogan which was derived insensitively from the #BringBackOurGirls hashtag, earned him Wall Street journal’s title as the bearer of the worst political slogan for 2014.
