Nigerians are protesting the Saraki Text-Crime bill that will make it a crime to insult a Senator via text to a friend or family. The harsh bill which President Buhari has distanced himself from prescribes a fine of $10,000 and jail term for text and Whassap messages among other petty matters.
Persecution of the corrupt senate has led to their proposing the bill to bully the affe ted masses, commentators say.
Protesters stormed the national Assembly complex Tuesday.
