The Senior Special Assistant to President Goodluck Jonathan, Doyin Okupe, on Monday, said that the President is like Jesus Christ, who the Christian faithful call the saviour of the world, because the manner in which he bears the burden of Nigerians.
He said this while appearing as a guest at the breakfast show of Channels Television, ‘Sunrise Daily’.
According to Okupe in the very interesting interview which wa drawn condemnation from Nigerians, especially the Christian folks, “People do not understand the burden this president is bearing. He’s like Jesus Christ. He’s bearing the burden of everybody.”
Okupe also spoke on several national issues, including Boko Haram and electricity.
