Prominent analysts are highlighting what appears to be higher covid cases observed in European nations that have higher vaccination rates. UK, Netherlands and Malta as can be seen in these charts have the highest vaccination rates but coincidentally also have the highest numbers of Covid 19 cases.
European states with less that 50% vaccination rates in contrast are currently recording lower case rates. Could the vaccine be linked to lower severity but quicker spread of Covid? Are the vaccinated throwing caution to the winds and thus increasing risk of spread? Is shedding a factor? There are many questions to be answered.
Something really odd is going on:

In Europe we are seeing surges at many places where most of the population has already been vaccinated.
At the same time, the 15 least vaccinated countries don‘t seem to face any problem.
At some point, denying this problem will get painful. pic.twitter.com/240KUKTJwe
High vaccination rates are resulting in higher death rates- Can an expert please explain the benefits? #cdnpoli #wearelivingalie https://t.co/frriLLNxxc
