Scores have been reportedly killed by nomadic Boko Haram, usually called Fulani herdsmen in a recent invasion of Ukpabi,Nimbo in Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area of Enugu State.
The invasion occurred in the in the early of hours of Monday and left many dead according to reports confirmed by the Police public relations officer, Ebere Amaraizu, who said,
“He said a combined team of police and Army have moved to the area.
“Natives have fled to neighboring communities of Nkpologu and Uvuru, even as Nkpologu natives fled to Nsukka in fear of attacks.”
Nigeria’s minister of information addressed concerns that the government was folding its arms as this menace continued by saying the government had chosen to act “secretly” against the menace. This further infuriated Nigerians.

An eyewitness has revealed some of the details of the brazen but long-foretold invasion of communities in Enugu. A combined Fulani and Boko Haram terrorists masquerading as herdsmen ambushed several Enugu communities including Ukpabi, Nimbo in Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area in the early hours of Monday slaughtering not less than 200 indigenous people of Biafra who are local farmers in the area.

A NewsRescue analyst, Dr. Rotimi Adigun, said,
“They are armed, they have supplies, they are organized. They are not fulani nomads.”
“They are an army. The Nigerian Government lies when they keep saying these are nomads or criminals. That’s a big lie. They are an armed group and they are not fighting for grazing land.
“Fulani know that nobody has a right to get grazing or farm land from other people by force. Thats bumkum. They re just killing people, period!
“Buhari made a big mistake when he simplify this into grazing land bill. I think he has shown the poor judgement strong enough for me to condemn him as a leader.
“This is all premeditated.”
