Barely 24 hours after a twin bomb explosion occurred in Kaduna yesterday, targeting former head of State and opposition politician Muhammadu Buhari and an outspoken regime and Boko Haram critic, Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi, with reports of several people killed and injured, another blast has been reported in Kano as twin explosions occurred in a densely populated area of Sabon-geri.
Some reports have it that the blast rocked a bus station in the city of Kano according to witnesses.
Other local sources revealed that the explosions occurred along the Zoo road, and in a Shoprite.
Details are still sketchy at the moment but witnesses are in panic as many scamper for safety.

BARELY 24 hours after Kaduna City, Kaduna State was hit by two bombs, a suicide bomber late Thursday afternoon targeted a busy taxi park along New Road in the Sabon Gari district of Kano.
One woman was confirmed dead and eight others sustained various degrees of injury in a bomb blast in New Road motor park, Kano. The motor park where a similar incidence happened last year.
Reports say the bomb was concealed in a refrigerator that was among other loads to be loaded on one of the luxurious buses that was waiting for passenger. When the refrigerator was about to be loaded it went off, killing one woman instantly.
The bus was billed to travel to Port Harcourt before the incidence happened.
The Commissioner of Police Kano Command Mr Aderenle Shinaba who spoke to journalists at the scene of the blast confirmed that the injured persons were taken to Abdullahi Wase Specialists Hospital.
