Boko Haram attacked Chadian Troops at Gamboru, near the Nigerian border. Chadian troops recently captured Gamboru from the terrorists. Over a dozen terrorist trucks attempted to spring the soldiers in a pre-dawn attack at about 4am as has been their usual style against Nigeria.

But the Chadians were ready; as happens to Nigeria, they had intel and expected the attack since a day before.

And unlike Nigeria, the Tchadian gendarmes not only repelled Boko Haram from the failed attack but sent helicopter gun-ships to destroy the terrorists as they ran, according to Chadian reports.

It can be compared that recently in Chatham house, Nigeria’s NSA, Sambo Dasuki had said Nigeria was not only able to defend Monguno, but had stationed troops from there that will recapture Baga. The reverse was the case, The Nigerian forces under Kenneth Minimah and Alex Badeh hopelessly lost Monguno to the terrorists and the army equipment in its barracks, right after NSA Dasuki’s claims.
