One of the schoolgirls abducted by Boko Haram sect from Government Girls Secondary School in Chibok, Borno State has reportedly escaped from the Boko Haram den.

According to an online portal, TheCable, National Chairman of the Kibaku Area Development Association, Dr. Pogu Bitrus, made this known on Tuesday night.

Bitrus, however, failed to disclose the identity of the escaped girl, noting that it could endanger her life.

He said: “The girl is currently at a location I cannot disclose.

“But I can assure you that she is safe,” he added.

DailyPost reports that some gunmen on April 14 invaded a Government Girls Secondary School in Chibok, Borno State and whisked away over 200 girls.
