APC aspirant for Nasarawa-West Senatorial District, Gen. Ahmad Abdullahi Abokie (rtd) has called on President Goodluck Jonathan to squeeze out members of the terrorist Boko Haram, even if it means bringing some of our retired soldiers back into army.
Gen Abokie stated this on Wednesday while having audience with some journalists. He said the audacity of the insurgents has gone beyond playing golf with a child and that it is now time to declare a full scale war on the group.
“When an insurgence like that start occupying territories then it has gone beyond playing golf with your child and become a full scale war. Government of the day must ensure consultations. This is a national issue, they must be squeezed out even if it means bringing some of our retired fine soldiers back,” he said, adding government must also ensure that our soldiers are well and better equipped than the Boko Haram group.
