NewsRescue– After acknowledging Dr. Stephen Davis’ statements and unsuccessfully trying to spin them against the “opposition,” [See link of Olisah Metuh’s acknowledgement] The Jonathan government 8 days later finally decided to abandon ship and deny the revelations implicating sacked army Chief General Azubuike Ihejirika as the chief sponsor of Boko Haram terrorist organization. Linda Ikeji posts:
These people like to confuse Nigerians sha. How will someone claim he was hired to do a job by a government if that is not so? FG has denied claims by Australian hostage negotiator, Stephen Davis, that he was hired by the Nigerian Government to negotiate for the release of Chibok girls.
“For now nobody has been hired by the government to negotiate on its behalf with Boko Haram. Anytime the government decides to do so, it will make it known to the public. The government is still investigating the allegations made by the alleged negotiator. However, the government has no plan to question anybody because of those allegations made by the Australian,” Omeiri stated.
NewsRescue-Another Nigerian, Ahmed Saldika who resides in the UAE also was reported to have been hired as a negotiator with Boko Haram. It appears the Federal Government hereby also denies his role. So all in all, the Jonathan Government is not negotiating with Boko Haram or they are only using internal negotiators? The statement by the Nigerian government is purposely ambiguous and it seems there is no coordinated head.
