Former Secretary to Kaduna State Government,Alhaji Lawal Samaila Yakawa today told Southern Kaduna people to actualize Yakowa’s legacy by supporting All Progressive Governorship candidate Malam Nasir El-Rufai
Yakawada who recently dumped PDP to APC served under the reign of late Governor Patrick Ibrahim Yakowa in the state.
He also assured the people that Malam Nasir El-Rufai if elected will revive all projects abandoned by his successor, Governor Mukhtar Ramalan Yero.
Yakawada spoke in Fadan Kagoma, Yakowa’s home during commissioning ceremony of a campaign office donated to El-Rufai by some members of the community.
“I know Yakowa and I worked for him with absolute loyalty and so, I will not deceive the people of Fadan Kagoma and entire Kaduna state.
“Yakowa meant well before God took him away but I must confessed here that Malam El-Rufai will revive all the abandoned projects started by our late boss.
“God is watching all of us and we know what we are talking about. We are insiders and know the consequences of our silence.
“So we are stating the fact before the world. What we are saying is, support El-Rufai and let us rebuild our battered state.
“We should not pretend about the reality we are in today in Kaduna state. And so the people of Fadan Kagoma and the whole state should know this fact.
“We will not support what is inimical to our people, El-Rufai is the way out of the rut as you all identified here.
“Let us actualize Yakowa’s legacy by supporting him. We are grateful and let the message spread.”
Malam El-Rufai said he was really touched that the people believed in him.
“I am overwhelmed with the crowd that received us, everything is inspiring and I am grateful.”
Presenting the campaign office complex, leader of the group, Mr. Jonathan Luka said “We thank God we have gone round Fadan Kagoma and saw the mess we are in, the hospital and road projects abandoned contrary to the propaganda.
“It is the same thing in the state. Please we believe in you and donated this office to canvass support and may God answer our prayers.”
