After much criticism for major padding, the Nigerian Senate on Wednesday, passed the 2016 Appropriation Bill sent to joint session of the national assembly by President Muhammadu Buhari.
The budget was submitted for review since December 205, but fraudulent entries caused a global scandal and delayed its passing. It is not yet known how much of the corruption has been cleared in the approved budget.
