We at Social Media wish to condemn at the strongest term the arrest, deportation, detention and the continuing detention of one blogger, called Mr Jamil Ismail Mabai by the Nigerian Police Force (NPF) at the instance of the Katsina State Government.
The arrest and detention of the blogger without any iota of doubt is one of the political suicide committed by the present Katsina State Government, being the blogger as we were reliably informed one of the ardent supporters of the present Katsina State Government and his blogging contributed immensely to the success of the Government in the 2015 polls.
We wish to emphatically remind the government that “No Nigerian is more Nigerian than any Nigerian”
We therefore come together as a people to demand justice and Freedom for Mr. Jamil Ismail Mabai and ask the government to stop future intention of forceful arrest of innocent citizens.
We are citizens and We should not be intimated by the government who acquired high positions by the mandates of the people.
We wish to categorically without any fear of contradiction state that Katsina State Governor cannot fight the goodwill of the people and he should not wage war against its citizens (Social Media Activists) and to take note that Mr Ismail Mabai commits no offence under our constitutional democratic set up, hence, we demand his release forthwith and unconditionally.
